'The Talk': Leah Remini Says Sharon Osbourne Had Her Fired For Being 'Ghetto'

Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete have been off "The Talk" since summer 2011, but Remini is finally opening up about her firing. The actress took to Twitter to discuss her dismissal from the CBS talk show.

Why was she let go from the talk show? Because of Sharon Osbourne, Remini told her followers.

Remini, Peete, Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert and Marissa Jaret Winokur were the original hosts of "The Talk" when it premiered on CBS in 2010. Winokur left the series midway through Season 1, but Peete and Remini finished out the season.

After a summer of contract rumors, Peete and Remini were dropped from the series. Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler joined the cast in Season 2.

Remini told her followers that Osbourne had her and Peete removed from the series because they were "ghetto."

When pressed for details, Remini told her followers that Osbourne made those statements during an interview with Howard Stern.

"Some people dont really know who they are," Osbourne told Stern, "and you have to know who you are when you're in something like this."

Osbourne took to Twitter to shoot down Remini's claims. "Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show," she tweeted.

"That being said, my only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional, and childish behavior," Osbourne said.

While she may not be yakking it up on "The Talk," Remini has booked a new gig. The "King of Queens" actress signed on to star opposite J.K. Simmons and Kyle Bornheimer in a new ABC comedy pilot.

Tippi Hedren On Alfred Hitchcock Biopic 'The Girl': 'I Worry They Will Not Portray Me As Strong As I Was '

Last December, Sienna Miller was cast as actress Tippi Hedren in the Alfred Hitchcock biopic "The Girl." The film follows the director's obsessive relationship with Hedren while they filmed "The Birds" and "Marnie."

The real-life Tippi, now 82 years old, has already given her approval of the biopic and the casting of Miller. However, she still has a few worries about the project.

"I am thrilled Sienna is playing me. She is terrific for the part," Hedren told the Daily Mail. "[However] If I have one reservation about the film, it is that I worry they will not portray me as as strong a character as I was -- and still am. I had to be extremely strong to fight off Mr Hitchcock."

The odd dynamic between Hedren and Hitchcock has been well documented. The horror genius attempted to control Tippi, and was, as she describes, "insistent and obsessive." The two stopped working together after "Marnie," with Hedren quitting due to Alfred's behavior.

"He wanted to possess me completely... There were so many wonderful films we could have made together but it was all thrown away because of his mindless lust," she said.

"The Girl," starring Miller and Toby Jones as Alfred Hitchcock, will be broadcast on BBC Two sometime in 2012. In addition to "Girl," another Hitchcock biopic, "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho," starring Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh and Anthony Hopkins as Hitch, is set for a 2013 release date.

Whitney Houston Will; Singer Leaves Everything To Bobbi Kristina

ATLANTA — Whitney Houston left everything to her 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
The pop superstar's will doesn't mention specific assets, but leaves all of her furnishings, clothing, personal effects, jewelry and cars to her surviving children. Bobbi Kristina was her only child.

Inside Edition first reported the will, filed in Atlanta, on Wednesday.

Houston's money will be put in a trust. Her sister-in-law and manager, Patricia Houston, was appointed the administrator of the estate.

Upon turning 21, Bobbi Kristina will receive part of the money, more of it at age 25 and the balance at age 30. Houston's trustees can give her money from the trust for various purposes, including tuition, to buy a home and to start a business.

The will was signed on Feb. 3, 1993, about a month before Houston gave birth to her daughter. The 48-year-old died Feb. 11 in California.

Snooki's Engagement, Pregnancy To Ruin Her Career?

While MTV is the first to point out that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has not confirmed that she is pregnant or engaged, insiders are now telling me that the pint-sized star is indeed with child and has said yes to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle's marriage proposal.

But what affect will motherhood and marriage have on the reality star, whose hard-partying ways are the pillar of her fame?

"I think Snooki's brand will be negatively affected by her recent pregnancy and news that she is considering marriage," Ronn Torossian, CEO of 5WPR, a leading PR agency, said. "I don't think her brand is diverse or developed enough to be a reputable source for a product or service and certainly not in the Mommy space.

Having supporters and fans doesn't translate into making money from them and I think Snooki's association as the Snooki of the 'Jersey Shore' can't change."

Cooper Lawrence, author of "The Cult of Celebrity," agrees.

"For most of her audience, it will absolutely end her brand," Lawrence said. "If you think about all of the jokes made at her expense, it's all about partying, indiscriminate sexual encounters, humping plants, fighting in bars.

She's known for being an irresponsible party girl. It's a very 'single, drunk in the city' image. Motherhood does not and frankly should not fit into that image."

But others disagree, saying that it's Snooki's "girl next shore" personality that will keep fans coming back, whether she's ordering shots or a babysitter.

"To me, she's always seemed like a modern-day Lucille Ball and the reason why Snooki has resonated with so many people is because she's relatable,"

Daymond John of ABC's "Shark Tank" insisted. "Just as she's showed millions of people how fun it can be to in your 20s, she can now show how fantastic it can be to start a family. Children's books, baby and infant clothing, weight loss after pregnancy -- there are limitless options. If done correctly, I think this will give her brand even more longevity."

Elvis Duran, host of "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show," also sees the next chapter of Snooki's life as an opportunity for a new beginning.

"Being a mother and wife is definitely worth a shot for Snooki," Duran said. "How much more mileage can she get from the crazy party girl image? I think Snooki and MTV will capitalize on the opportunity to bring her fans along for the ride as she evolves into the next chapter of her life."

Pregnant and engaged, once again Snooki has us all divided -- but still very interested.

Advance man for 'Amazing Race,' 'Whale Wars' fatally poisoned in Africa

Tragedy has hit a team in charge of facilitating challenges for “The Amazing Race” and other reality on the continent of Africa, a source close to the show tells FoxNews.com.

At least two freelance facilitating producers were poisoned -- one fatally -- after a failed shakedown attempt, t he source told FoxNews.com.

FoxNews.com also spoke with a person who identified herself as a family member who said the facilitator who died was Jeff Rice.

The family member said Rice's body was found in Uganda.

Details are sketchy, but the source said that after refusing to give in to the demands of local thugs, Rice and another facilitator ended up very sick with poisoning of some kind.

Rice was not currently working on “The Amazing Race,” but he had worked on Season 20, which premiered on CBS on Sunday. Rice had also worked on Animal Planet's "Whale Wars" and the South African version of "The Biggest Loser," along with several other series and television movies.

A rep for Jerry Bruckheimer Films, the production company behind “The Amazing Race,” said that he had “no knowledge” of the incident.
CBS had no comment.

Facilitators are typically local people hired by production companies to make necessary arrangements with local officials before producers come in to shoot scenes for their shows.

“The Amazing Race” features multiple teams of two competing in a race around the world to win $1,000,000 in prize money. The series became a sensation when it first aired on CBS in September 2001 and continues to be one of the network's highest rated shows.

Grammy 2012 Winners' List: Adele Sweeps Music's Biggest Night

If there ever were a doubt that this was Adele's year, the 2012 Grammys put any speculation to rest! The British songstress swept the awards, winning a staggering six golden gramophones. During her numerous acceptance speeches, the singer made sure to thank her fans, radio station support and most importantly her mum, who sadly couldn't join Adele on her big night.

The other big winners of the night were the Foo Fighters -- who won four awards, including Best Rock Song and Rock Album. Shocking many in the Best New Artist category was Wisconsin native Bon Iver, who upset the likes of Nicki Minaj and the Band Perry.

The night of celebration had a decidedly more somber tone this year as the music industry mourned the sudden death of Whitney Houston yesterday (Feb. 11). Jennifer Hudson's moving rendition of Houston's hit 'I Will Always Love You' barely left a dry eye in the house. Other musical icons such as 'Soul Train's Don Cornelius and Etta James were also remembered at the event.

Reese Witherspoon, Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron: Who Is The Best Young Actress of Her Generation?

Back in January, New York Times scribe Adam Sternberg, using a metric based on Academy Award-nominated performances, including actual acting nominations and performances that potentially slighted, deduced that none other than Mark Wahlberg -- he most recently of the silly action film "Contraband" -- was the greatest young actor of his generation. According to Sternbergh's calculations, Wahlberg has given five Oscar-worthy performances -- namely, "Boogie Nights," "Three Kings," "The Yards," I Heart Huckabees" and "The Fighter" -- plus received a nomination for "The Departed." That's six pieces of lauded work, giving Wahlberg more quality performances than some acclaimed thespians his age, including Leonardo DiCaprio (who has three Oscar-worthy performances), Matt Damon (three) and Paul Giamatti (four). His only peer, Sternbergh concludes, is Philip Seymour Hoffman, with six or seven (but then, Wahlberg also has six or seven if you count his producing nomination for "The Fighter"). Oh, and just to keep things scientific, another pundit, IFC.com's Matt Singer, found only Joaquin Phoenix had a number of Oscar-worthy performances equal to Wahlberg's total.

What no one has done yet, however, is apply the formula to actresses. So Moviefone ran the figures ourselves, among today's most acclaimed young actresses. (For purposes of this experiment, we defined the "young" generation of actresses as between 26 and 47, which let us include everyone from Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley to Laura Linney and Sandra Bullock.) The results may surprise you.

Let's just say that we found just three actresses whose achievements equal or surpass those of Mark Wahlberg, and two in particular who are racking up actual Oscar nominations fast enough that they may be in Meryl Streep territory by the time they're her age. At any rate, those complaining about the dearth of interesting female roles in movies can't blame these actresses listed below. They are big, it's the pictures that got small.
